And we are back, with another scheduled update that is actually pretty close to on time.
What is this madness!
1. Paint a platoon for Flames of War
I said last month that I was keen on getting some infantry to add to my Late War US army. The slight problem is that the US infantry platoons are huge!
So to make a start, I have finished up the Company HQ, and a few small base teams. I used the very cool plastic rubble bases to really tie my infantry together with my very wintery tanks.
5 small bases, still counts as a platoon! |
The bazooka over the wall is one of my favourites |
2. Add something to armies I have already painted
The Officer, Sgt and Bugler |
Pistol, Winchesters and a shotgun. All of the things a cavalry unit needs! |
I put the photobooth away before taking this photo, oops! |
Painting up some Wild West Cavalry was enough to inspire me to get out some of my "to assemble" 4ground kits to go along with them!
A caboose! |
It has a ridiculously detailed interior. Words were spoken about it...... |
And a whole lot of railway track for it to run on! |
4. Play a game a month, that was different to the last month
I finally managed to get my Imperial Germans out for a game of ADLG-R against their mortal enemies, the Swedes!
The game was super fun, I am going to have to play more!!
My cavalry wing! |
An aerial view of the battle |
A highly successful unit of Dragoons, with the two units it held up for the entire game! |
Next up? Flames of War!
5. Paint a Hundred Years War French Army for ADLG
More ADLG painted!
Paint one Knight for ADLG
Yellow and black makes for quite the striking combination! |
Paint one base for ADLG
Ok, not more peasants.... this time it's Crossbowmen!
Paint up an army of 15mm Celts
This is a new section for this month, mainly because I am mad, and have decided that I want a 15mm ADLG army. Knowing that I am playing a bunch of games, I decided to make my life easier and instead of learning to play another different army, I instead opted to talk to Potbelly Miniatures about getting some 15mm Celts printed, with the added bonus of because it's 15mm, I can have a LOT of chariots!
Awesome looking chariots at that! |
Boudicca |
The first bases of Celt medium swordsmen! |
Next up? More Crossbowmen I think, and more Celts!
Good to see you sticking to one project at at time Pooch.
